Physiological Causes
Lactic acid, or lactate, is a natural byproduct of anaerobic glycolysis, the process by which cells convert glucose into energy when oxygen is insufficient.
During intense exercise, muscles may not receive enough oxygen, leading to temporary lactate accumulation in the blood.
This is a normal, reversible process and usually resolves with rest and oxygen supply restoration
Pathological Causes
